Happy International Community Day & More!
Hello Friends!
There are many things coming up ahead for the book so I thought I’d share them with you! I hope you don’t mind me giving you the highlights for the next two weeks.
I had beers with a peer
I recently was on the Peers over Beers podcast about the book and talked a bit about the story behind the book, as well as some of the things inside. You can check it out here:
International Community Day
This Saturday I will be joining community builders around the the world to celebrate the power of community. There is a ton of virtual programming you can check out here:
InternationalCommunityDay.org — www.internationalcommunityday.org Speakers
I’ll have my own session at 1 PM ET. I hope you’ll be able to stop by. All the details are on the website, including links to join.
I will be live on CMGR live
Tim and David will have me on their live community stream next Friday, October 14 at 2 PM ET. I also appreciate Samantha as well for her work to create a space for the conversation. It should be a fun one.
Much more to come
It has just begun! There are many more appearances ahead in the near future including with CMX/Bevy hosted events, Uncommon Book club and more.
I will also be at TSIA World Envision in Las Vegas October 17-19, and if you’re there, happy to meet you, have a chat about community, or sign your copy. Sadly it’s the last show I have scheduled for the year, so if I don’t meet you there, I’ll see you at the next big community event in 2023.
Don’t have your copy yet? The book is now available at all fine bookstores, and I understand at even some libraries. Get your chance to read it and join me at any of the upcoming events. Maybe a chance to get a copy for free- or so I’ve heard 😛
Finally, I have one small ask. If you’ve read the book and feel comfortable to do so, I appreciate a review on any site you bought the book from. Your reviews will help others discover the book and I appreciate all the help in getting the word out.
Have yourself a great weekend and stay well!
Adrian
