My new role and the future....
First off, thanks to
for this sweet swag, my daughter is wearing. It came right as I started conversations with the folks who would become my current employers. I just announced today on Linkedin, but in case you may have missed it…..I am thrilled to announce yesterday I started in the new role as Vice President of Marketing & Community at the Community Leaders Institute (CLI).
As many know, my greatest passion has been to advocate for the community industry. This new role allows me to continue this work and create resources to help people further their ambition of making a career in the community-building world.
I know some of you had prior experiences with CLI, but there is new leadership in place and big dreams to build the best place for community builders of all skills and seniority. I really believe in this mission, and our whole team has their eyes and ears open to your suggestions. We are moving as fast as possible, I’m so excited for you to see what’s next.

The next book…
I have also started to begin the outline of my next book. I will be writing it in my spare time. I hope it doesn’t take four years like the last one, but I am excited to incorporate a lot of the learnings from the first book. I am saying this publicly too, so I hold myself accountable for delivery.
