Hello friends,
I never foresaw one of the consequences of Elon’s purchase of Twitter would also kill a product I came to love this last little bit. It seems the platform I used to send prior newsletters is shutting down. I have made the decision to not kill this newsletter, though, and so I have moved over to Substack.
Further with the changes Elon has made, I have slowed down my posting and time on Twitter, and you can now find me on Mastodon. I know some folks are still taking a wait and see view to Twitter, but I am not waiting for the house to burn down. I have begun to build a post-Twitter plan.
The best place to connect going forward will be Mastodon and LinkedIn. I will continue to share all the community goodness I can on those channels and I hope you will join in the conversation.
Special End of the Year eBook Deal
For those who have not bought the book and want the ebook - check out Jenny Weigle’s list of favourite things for 2022. Jenny has been an amazing supporter of the book so the best way I could repay her was with a special discount for her followers (and you). You can check out the deal here! It lasts until December 31st 2022.
Events Ahead for the Book
I know you’ve seen a lot of my face on various platforms talking about the book. I really appreciate everyone’s kind words and questions. There aren’t many more times you’ll see me talking about the book before the end of the year.
I’ll be joining Blake Etheridge for an episode on December 7th, but I am not sure when he will post it. The next day, on December 8th at 3 PM ET, I will be joining Samantha Venia Logan at Socially Constructed Discord for a chat. You can find it here.
I have some other podcasts and events planned, but I will have more news about that in the new year.
Thanks Everyone!
I just wanted to take the time to express my gratitude for you. Thank you for your support and your time. I know many of us are going through a rough patch with our jobs, the economy, inflation and all the things. However, the community of community folks is as strong as always. I thank you for showing up, for being there for your communities and all the people who need you. I hope you find time for yourself in the coming months to recharge, relax and reflect on all the amazing things you did in 2022!
Onwards to your success!
Adrian
